Enterprise News | HERMIONE's scientific research project “Development and application of microbial preparation for strawberry root rot prevention and control” passed the acceptance.

On November 30th, 2024, under the auspices of the Science and Technology Bureau of Qinhuangdao Municipality, relevant experts were invited to form an acceptance group, which conducted a meeting for the acceptance of the project “Development and application of microbial preparation for strawberry root rot prevention and control” undertaken by our company.
The expert group listened to the report on the completion of the project, reviewed the project scientific and technical report, the project work summary, the final report on the project funding and other relevant information, and after questioning, defense and discussion, unanimously agreed that the information submitted by the project team was complete and standardized, and the assessment indicators agreed in the mission statement were successfully completed, meeting the requirements for acceptance, and unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance.
The project has successfully screened out a strain of Bacillus subtilis HMF14 with good control effect on strawberry root rot and applied for the invention patent, the microbial preparation prepared by this strain can achieve 81.21% control effect on strawberry root rot, close to the application of chemicals (81.76%) of the level of prevention and control and the strawberry yield increased by 11%.
The project realizes the goal of relying on microbial technology to solve the harm of strawberry root rot, reduce the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, improve the quality and yield of strawberries, and increase the income of farmers, which is of great significance to the sustainable development of strawberry industry in our city.
